Flow is bad, we have tried to change filter very frequently and have small cubes come out very slowly anyway. They look cloudy, taste funny and we are very dissatisfied. They used to work and we even had a technician try to fix the ice part but he didn™™t.

I needed to buy this product. I tried to buy it here, from GE's website, but this worthless website would not allow me to enter shipping information. Your site did not allow me to put in shipping information. Then, when I tried to proceed with the order, it would kick me back with an error message, telling me I needed to enter shipping information, which I cannot do. See the attached picture. I instead needed to buy replacements off of Amazon, when we all know Bezos doesn't need more money, even though the filters cost more on Amazon. There are not words for how annoying this is. Fix your website...

Been using these filters for 8 years now. Overall they are very good. We had some issues with (the new version of the filters) leaking around the seal and had to replace the housing which fixed it. The other issue is that the filter is supposed to last 6 months and the "replace filter" light usually comes on around 3 1/2 or 4 months. It's just my husband and myself so you would think it would last 6 months.

I have installed this filter for years, about 8 years. We use a small step stool so we adequately reach for proper install. The ice function works fine. Getting water works with dome and not with others. We ate not getting water with this one. It just floods the floor when you press the water tap. Others will work fine. Instruction say twist 1/4 turn. Not twist untilot stops. We try both ways. Years ago, On the bracket, I took a Fine Red Sharpie and colored in the dot. That is easy to see. On the Filter you have some markings but NO Mark where the filter is supposed to stop under that red dot. That would really help. Bought directly from GE. Still too expensive. Filtering Flouride and nano plastics is good. Parasites in the county water?

The filter is not able to attach to the refrigerator. No Good It is the correct filter. It will not seal or tighten. As I said I have been changing this filter twice a uyear for 6 years to the same refrigerator. I ordered it on line for you in the last month. Until now I have had no problems. Ive been ordering this filter for years and it normally does a great job but I think something may be wrong with this last one. The water comes out super slow and sometimes it won™™t even come out at all. I™™ve tried taking it off a couple of times and putting it back on but nothing has helped. Hopefully the next one won™™t be like this one. The water does still taste good though.

My frig. Came with the GWF06 filter or FMG1 which are nolonger available. This supposed to be the replacement. It will connect with some effort but has very slow water flow with air like noise. Put the FMG1 filter back. Quiet and normal water flow.

Because water filters are super, super expensive I have bought non OEM replacement filters (at 80% less costly) but some gave nasty taste. This filter does not add any (bad) taste to the water. But again, the problem is the OUTRAGEOUS price(theft!) - just to put things in perspective, if one changes this filter every 6 months, he will end paying more for the filters in 10 yrs than what he paid for the brand new refrigerator! What printer manufacturers are doing selling ink cartridges at outrageous price is what refrigerator companies are with water filters. Just a rip off!

I have replaced the MWF water filter several times in the past, BUT this time it doesn't fit. The MWFP is a carbon based / activated carbon filter that reduces more waterborne contaminates such as Mercury, Toxaphene, p-dichlorobenzene, Carbofuran, Alachlor and Benzene. I have been sent 2 if these filters and neither work. I was told that this filter was re-engineered after i bought my refrigerator and should work on my 8 year old side by side, however they do not. My refrigerator died last December 2023 and I purchased a different one. Unfortunately I had just received my automatic replacement filter a week before. I wrote the cost as bad timing and then canceled my subscription. In June 2024, they sent me another one and charged my credit card on file. I immediately called customer service and waited 40 minutes to talk with someone. When someone finally answered I told them I didn't order it and they said they would take care of it. Then they disconnected me. I called back again, waiting another 40 minutes. I spoke with a different person who said they would credit it back to my account. They also said I did not need to return it. I still have it in the box. However, I still have not received the credit 9 weeks later. I will probably contact BBB and go to social media websites unless I get some satisfaction to correct this. Very disappointed in their customer service or lack there of..

My new house is outfitted with a GE Monogram M# ZISB42DCA - S#F2038107. This replacement filter suggested is not able to attach, as the hole in the socket is much smaller. It seems an adapter piece is missing between filter and socket. No place in the instruction manual or the replacement video does it mention to keep this piece when replacing the filter.
