Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Great but™€¦

RSK79 1/24/2025

While we are excited to have our new cooktop we were a bit disappointed due to the ™€œ hard to read™€ indicators around each knob. The lettering on the high, medium, low indicator is grey and blends in with the finish on the cooktop making it difficult to read. The indicators were much darker, easier to read on the model displayed at the vendor. We can work with it but are a bit annoyed after paying over $1200 for this appliance.

Overall Great Product

Kwpete 3/11/2024

I bought this in February. Overall so far we are very happy. However I am not happy with the surface of the stainless steel. I plan to contact Maytag about this. The cast iron grates are smooth and easy to clean. The costing is good on them. On the stainless steel the surface is tough and difficult to clean. I am not sure it was properly coated. Otherwise it is a good product.

Excellent product and price but poor installation

Tbrum2 11/11/2023

5stars for cooktop product itself and Maytag price. Bumped down to 4 stars because we paid for the installation service and the crew didn™€™t bring the right size adapter part to connect the gas line (one of two major points of installation) nor did they use the included install bracket to anchor the top from sliding back and forth (the second main point of installation). Basically their installation included just placing the cooktop in the hole on my counter. Fortunately our contractor working on our kitchen project finished both install components following.

Terrible Product

Bob1954 7/6/2023

The stainless finish is so rough, it™€™s difficult to clean. Some sauce won™€™t even clean off the surface. It™€™s now a permanent stain. I reported and you said 30 days was the return cut off. Well, that stain didn™€™t happen til 2 months after purchase. Now I™€™m stuck for life. The finish in the showroom when I went back to complain. It was smooth. Why is mine rough ? You don™€™t stand by your product. Very disappointing. My family, friends and I will never go Maytag again. Can™€™t trust the product.

Nice cooktop.

Dan75 3/24/2023

Bought my house new. The cooktop was already installed. I like the larger burners in front right and middle. Very convenient for me. My only negative remark is that the control knobs sit higher than the grates. A cookie sheet placed on a grate causes the ignitors to function which is irritating. Would like the knobs to be slightly below the grate level.

I™€™ve been using this cooktop for about 2 years now and I still love it. It™€™s very easy to clean. Only complaint I have is the control nubs sits higher than grates. If I put something bigger like pizza pan or cookie sheets, it touches and pushes down the nobs a little and igniter starts kicking. Otherwise, it is a lot better stove top than my old one. I highly recommend this stovetop.

GRATES TOO HIGH AND HEAVY

Munna 6/2/2020

I bought this cook top in September 2018. The Grates are way too high so cooking takes longer and the gas consumption has gone up. Compare to my previous Maytag gas cook Top this one is very inefficient . Burners are very unstable and middle gas burner turns the flame completely off while bringing it down to lower setting. Besides easy cleaning i do not find any good thing to say about this product and do not recommend to buy.

Cooks precisely, looks great

LDRabbit 2/26/2020

We have had this cooktop for nearly six months and are extremely happy with it. I love that the burners can be regulated very precisely to the temperature you want, and that the large center burner can go from boiling a large pot of water for pasta quickly down to barely keeping a small pan warm. It also looks great. Clean-up is pretty easy, though, as with any cooktop, cleaning around the burners can be tricky, and, yes, because the grates have overlapping parts (a positive), you need to remove at least one side grate in order to clean underneath the center one. Not a big deal. If I could suggest to Maytag what to change next time around, it would be to make the dimples and humps on which the backs of the grates are seated on a lot deeper than they are, which would make it easier to situate them. In advance of purchasing, I was really concerned about this; it™€™s turned out to be much less of an issue that I expected. Slightly more annoying, but far from being a deal-breaker, is that the tops of the knobs are exactly level with the top of the grates. As a result, if you pull a pot back toward you a bit, even though most of it is resting on the grates, the front will rest on a knob or two and the ignition tries to spark. Of course, the burner won™€™t accidentally come on because you would also have to have turned the knob, but it™€™s a bit irritating to be limited in how you can shift pots around on the cooktop. If the knobs were a half inch shorter, the issue wouldn™€™t exist. In no way do these minor matter make us question our purchase. We spent an enormous amount of time in detailed examination of other cooktops in a similar price range, and I am certain there is nothing that rivals this one.

Burners and caps not fit tightly, grates too high

Keith_CA 5/4/2019

Burners and caps are not fit tightly, they are easily knocked out. the grates are too high, it takes longer to cook because the flame can't reach the pan. The printings around the control knobs area are extremely light and not readable. I wish I can return this cooktop.
